Long time no write

Well, I set off to the city today with my 21st birthday present - a $200 gift voucher for a camera store - and two weeks pay, and I have returned with a Nikon D60 kit. Still need to buy a tripod, but I don't care. I have a DSLR, and even with the cheapest Nikkor lenses I'm already seeing the benefits. Nice photos at 800 ISO? Yes please!

Yeah, you need to be using it. I had a $200 gift voucher for the camera store, so it only cost me $745 for a twin lens kit. It'd normally cost $945, and that's without any extra batteries, bags, etc. I'm not sorry though, the improvements over the camera I was using are phenomenal. Biggest thing for me is the light sensitivity; my old camera was a very poor low-light camera, so this just feels like a dream to use.

when you DON'T go there, it's a momentous occasion.
