Well, I now also have a UC-Logic graphics tablet, which has no taken over from my mouse not only in photoshop but also as a general purpose pointing device...I think I'm in love.

Hoya Polarizing Filter is also on the way, looking forward to playing with that. Now I've really gotta curb my spending, things I actually need before Uni goes back have been taking a back seat lately. But oh, how I love having all these new gadgets! Especially the camera!

I got a UC-Logic 5.5x4 inch with cordless pen on eBay for $80 (that's including postage). I've never used a Wacom, so I dunno how they compare, but it seems to work fine for me. The specs are the same as the low end Wacoms, so I guess it's about the same, just cheaper.

Right now, I'm even using it as a mouse. I just can't describe how much faster and smoother it is.

haha, yah... the cheapest wacom i have seen in stores is $99 for a 5x4 inch... But recently i saw a different one about twice that size for $149. or $198 with a mouse...
i figured when i get the money ill but a $149 one

Yeah, larger tablets should give you finer movements...but I don't know if I'd go bigger, this one seems fine enough, without too much arm movement.
